We have introduced protocol to ensure the safety of the children, you and us. Please read the document below to better understand all of our roles.
*UPDATE* April 4, 2022: Following the PHO in her recommendations for school districts, it is no longer mandatory that teachers wear masks in the school during pick up/drop off and during class time. Parents are free to choose to wear a mask during drop-off/pickup. Please note, all parents who participate in a Parent Helper day must wear a mask when in a room with others.
*August 29th, 2021 As of today, we are required to have step 3 communicable disease control and prevention in place. We will continue to do everything we did last year and will follow the current public health orders. If a Covid case happens within the school, we will inform public health and follow their guidance as well as inform you all. We will, as we did last year, be doing extra cleaning, require you to wear masks when inside the preschool, and the teachers will be social distancing within the preschool during class. Staff will not attend school if unwell in any way, and we will get tested if we show any symptoms. All staff, who are ordinarily present with children, will be double vaccinated by October 31st, 2021.
By signing your child in at the start of their preschool day, you are acknowledging that they have no symptoms and no one in your home is isolating due to a Covid-19 diagnosis. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe and healthy.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us any time.
